the old forum has  a few  patients that posted photos, and people on the board commented that  the pictures showed legs that werent straight... the patient then mentioned this to barinov, and he suddenly saw the problem and started to correct

Nevertheless you will suffer severe arthritis if you do not fix your legs.
Most likely you have back pain when standing up for longer times and I know running is out even if you can do it if you focus.

I have a lot of knowledge from this. Not just from my own lengthening journey but from our personal athletic physio therapist in the national team. I've had contact with him for at least 15 years now and a couple of others to whom I spoken to.

Lots of people have some kind of issue when walking/running or anything and they haven't even done any surgery to themselves.
We, who messes our bodies up, will have life long issues when doing sports. That's just the way it is.

A person who did 9cm in one segment can forget about doing squats without hurting himself. The bio mechanical axis is forever way off.
It can be possible with low weight(20-30kg) but it will most likely just hurt the back instead of working out the legs.

I hope you can fix it as good as possible.

Im right now at the clinic waiting for the doctor, im bored as hell!! Just had some more xrays and got a date with the nurse who took my xrays lol she asked me what happened "an accident "? I said yes, if i end up seeing her again i will tell her the truth, i would like to see her reaction lol she said if i didn't see the xray i would never thought you had a problem, she also thought my xray does not look so bad and that this doctor is really good doctor. Ofcourse she is not a doctor so will see.

So we can meet one day... im sorry if your situation is fked up man. Im fine, well kinda.

Just finish with the doctor. He said left leg needs to be fixed. Bones are healed. He said for now it's ok but in the long run it will give me knee problems. It needs to be corected. Right on the other hand said it looks ok, there might be some correction to do but for the most part it's fine. He asked me to get a full length xryas from the hips. He needs to measure the angles and everything to precisely know how much i need to correct and also that will determine the type of surgery i need. He said everything can be fix. So good news!:)

Cheese and bacon!!! I know miserable people will always want other people to be miserable as well!! And please do not come with that   that you people care about others in the forums cuz you don't and that is completely fine. I just wish everyone had the awareness to see it.

I see it even with my supose to be friends. Always judging,  and complaining and negativity, i feel sorry for such people and im trying to change their mentality. I guess they have to fix it by them self.

I ask doctor if i could lift weights. He said "you can do anything you want, anything you can tolerate . I asked about my muscle pain and soreness next to the bone.  He said i just have to give it time, with tome it will go away. I actually recorded the audio of the appointment i dont know if i can post it, i dont know how. Anyone knows how?

g man, taking x ray is fine... but who cares about the x ray....  hes had this situation a long time... he posted x rays like a year ago where you could see how bent his leg was... this is just time wasting

if you notice, he says in his post

"its ok for now" etc etc

just more excuses to not get it fixed soon


 people on this board need to be more realistic, and truthful with others....  i   do not care if i come across as harsh or direct.

barinov has had many issues... this is not the first time a patient has suffered with crooked legs... go on old forum and look for yourself


my leg was bad... past tense, but i got it fixed

i know what  a leg deformity does though... sore body, sore joints,etc... and that's just the beginning...  life gets better when  your deformities are fixed

but since this board is full of children that   need to be told how wonderful they are, how great they look,etc...

rgkey, your leg looks ok. dont worry , youll be fine, no big deal...  no need it rush to get it fixed...  do it on your own time, maybe in 5 years or so when you have the time

5 years!? What r u saying? Im gonna get it fix this year but no need to panic it is not an emergency. I just talked to an american specialist in correction and those were his exact words. I never said i was completely fine but im not bad, i lift weights and do heavy judo throws and dance better than most people without leg lengthening probably lol and the best part is the doctor just gave me the ok to do whatever the fk i want to do. So i don't understand what the problem is!? Am i from another planet? How about if people have something negative to say, they can keep it to themselves? I think OP has made it pretty obvious that he is here to help people who are considering LL by sharing his experiences. He's not interested in anyone else's (negative) opinions or comments.

OP is generous enough to keep us all updated through his journey and actually post pictures/videos, which, to me, shows a very high level of respect for others (so many people start heavy on the posts, promising to update but then disappear after a couple of weeks).

Time is valuable, and for him to take his own personal time to help people he hasn't even met - here is a person with moral integrity and actually does care about helping others. So why don't we all keep our negative comments to ourselves and act like adults, and hopefully OP will be kind enough to continue posting his journey for us.

You don't have to be negative to be truthful. RGKEY tells the truth, but he faces it (and tells it) with positivity. You are interpreting his positivity as dishonesty but I don't find that to be the case.

Im not so active here lately but i hardly doubt there are many diaries who have the real documented information of LL experience and post LL as I do. There are but not many. And yes it is true i many times post my opinion and things outside LL but all counts since LL is a big part of my present life. And this is a diary not a manual of what you should or should not do. I dont talk to talk i walk to walk. And i post what i think its important and relevant to post, and that is all i want to do. And thank you for talking to me whatever negative comments u have to say. At the end of the day in days like today when i feel like coming to the forum, you give me a reason to post something and entertain my brain at least for a minute or so.

I have a friend from LL who awhile ago told me "i wouldn't wear lifts it's like lying yo your self, it's not real" and months later gess what... he was going to the clubs with lifts and he felt better and even hooked up with few girls, and even had sex... become a better version of your self, to do that you need to drop your false believes, be humble and learn from people.
Tomorrow maybe i will have an accident and maybe i will not walk again, now only i will decide if that will be a problem in my life or not. That doesn't mean i will walk but that means i will not allow my self to be miserable because of it. If you do not understand what im trying to say im really really very sorry. But i wouldn't be surprised either if you don't.  I have faith everyone has their chance to wake up in life I hope to all LLers will not let it pass. From june of 2013 though may of 2014 were the best months of my life!!! I love my time in Russia, i love Dr. Barinov and everyone there from my heart. Im not saying by any means that i think Barinov is the best doctor, i never said that. People twist words to validate their opinions. And yes i agree. But you know what, it's good that people post their negativity, that's just the world we live in and couping and dealing with it is what matters, i will never let negativity in my life, well sometimes i do for maybe few minutes, but not for long. Plus i work out and do Judo to drop the tension, oh and masturbarte pretty much every day! Haha lol it helps a lot trust me, and girls masturbarte even more than guys!! I was at the doctor office. The mother fker didn't close the door and was.loud as hell, so pretty much everyone on that floor knew i did leg lengthening hahaha... that was a good test for me to come clean lol and he was auto recording him self with a tape recorder so he was really loud. Then another doctor heard about it he came and start asking questions, and he said why he did that?? Vanity? ?? And gave him a face like, he is stupid hahaha i just laugh, and thought to my self that is funny. Honestly many times i dont tell people abit my LL more because it will need a lot of explaining for something that i think doea not need explanation.

by the way, I never said you have crippled legs... you will be okay if they just get corrected... i write these things because i know how i was with my leg, and also have an uncle with bad legs that ignored his problems, everyone in my family  s told me he'll be fine, and 3 months ago he had to have his left leg below the knee removed

youre not crippled... its just a very  important thing to get done...     we are likely at a higher risk for arthritis as it is because of our surgery, even if our legs are pefectly aligned..

right  now i need to lose like 25 lbs.... someone told me how awful i looked, and that I needed to lose it asap.. everyone else  tells me i look fine.... the person that said i was fat is right though, and really got me attention.... i need to lose weight now

Today was legs day.
i went up on my squads. 100 pounds 4 sets 12 reps.
Few months ago i couldn't even do 90.

Im taking it slow. I could do more but i don't want to hurt my knees. As now im bulking and look like a panda haha
It's all good.
Maybe one day ill have my friend record my leg workout.
