Great stuff, very solid looking legs Hanna

How do you feel biking or running or jogging? Also i'm amazed you managed to pull off so much on just one segment, are you not having any other problems other than duck ass? Like do you feel stiff etc? :O

Biking is no problem, I ride my exercise bike for at least 2 hours per day. Jogging or running is still far away, I'm still on crutches (I'll send the new x-rays to Dr. Betz and wait until his response) and I still have duck-ass. Surprisingly that's my only issue. I never had wide-legs or even a streching feeling on this part of my legs. I feel a bit stiff in the morning but it doesn't hold on very long.
But since I'm back at college I have to sit several hours per day, so in the evening the duck-ass seems worse. I need to stretch a lot and I need to be patient...

thats very impressive. It looks very clean, your callus looks normal, so its all good. Hope your Duck-ass is not that bad (Stay in the DuckHouse bad duck, bad...joke ? ).

You wrote before that you went back to school recently. How is it sitting in class and studying for many hours? Do your legs still get stiff? How long of a break would you recommend between the initial surgery and returning to class or a desk job?

Yes, that's right. After a few hours of sitting the legs still get very stiff.
If you have an office job it might be possible to walk a little during the day and/or lift your legs on a Second chair while working? I guess that would be very helpful.

I could have worked/ studied 4 weeks after surgery. I had no severe pain and didn't need to take painkillers during the day. But you don't know before how you will feel after surgery. I took one semester off and it was a good decision, I could focus on physio and recovery.

Hi Hanna, is there any way to overcome this stiffness or does this stay forever? I'm pretty sure all people with natural legs get stiff/numb legs if sat on them for too long, like on the toilet etc? Or am i mistaken about this particular type of stiffness, may you or somebody please explain what type of stiffness this is and whether there is any solution to it. Thank you.

Good news, stiffness is totally gone now. :-)
It's hard to describe to healthy people. :-/ I guess it's similar to what you described but even a bit more.

I'm allowed to walk completely without crutches now!!

I'll start with short distances and will increase the amount of walking with every week, like Dr. Betz recommended.

Compliments on your wonderful achievement!

I've just sent my first e-mail to info@betzinsitute.com, asking for an operation toward the end of the forthcoming November:
I aim for 4,5 cm, starting from a 176,5 cm (a compromise between wanting to be taller, since so many years now-I am 44 y.o.- and not being off my work for too long).
I hope that this amount of lenghtening would keep very low the chances of not fully recover my actual fitness level.

Good luck for your surgery! 4,5cm is not too much, so the risks are minimal and recovery will be quick.
Since Dr. Betz receives hundreds of emails per week, it's easier to reach him via phone.

Thats a part of the experience when you go with Dr Betz after what Sysop has done, people lost trust with Dr Betz including me. I see him differently now, Im sure he's a great Dr and does the job successfully, but he's probably a greater businessman from all the talks on both forums. Re that guy, just ignore him, just another troll with the Napoleon complex... Live your life and enjoy your new height, no need to pay attention to filth like that

Maybe you are right. i'm just not used to such hateful comments...

Now that I'm off crutches for a few weeks, I feel almost normal again. :-)
But I will stay careful and sports like jogging have to wait till my bones are 100% consolidated. Maybe I could do it earlier, but why risk any complications?
