How long after your able to walk okay do you think it would be okay to use shoe lifts. Im not talking about elevator shoes that adds absurd amounts like 4-5 inches. You wont be able to walk right even before surgery with that. I use 4 cm insoles so Im hopeful I can combine it right away with my new height.

Am not sure where i read, but i can tell you it was not recomendded because of the nails inside you, am not sure though

Dont do that. The sole purpose of LL is to help you surpass you insecurities with your height. Wearing lifts will never allow you to do that because you will always feel you are not tall enough. In contrast to LL where people can think you became taller but you can always insist they are wrong, you can easily get caught with lifts and people will make fun of you. So, my suggestion is just move on

how you will get caught i see it very difficult, though i don't wear it

I have not done it yet im saving up the money. I realize that still wearing lifts could be bad mentally but it would stop me from wanting to do more gains in surgery or a second one. I have worn lifts for 8 years and never worried about getting  discovered. The key is not to go beyond what you can walk normally. I use 4 cm insoles which work great for me while 3 inch elavator shoes I had made me look like a retard walking. I hope what kaiser said about the nail is not true. I would bot use the lifs of course until I am able to walk unassisted. Maybe a LL veteran can awnser this question.

The main issue with lifts being disingenuous is they are hidden out of sight, so just buy shoes with a clear 2-3 cm heel. Everyone who sees you will see the heel so your not lying to them at all, but you still get the unconscious benefits of the 2-3 cm boost in height.

I agree with normal shoes its okay but I don't feel tall without the lifts as well usually wear my lifts and use these.

The problem isn't being discovered the problem is if the lifts make your heel higher then your toes you're shortening your tibia. Once you can walk normally with no ballerina ever lifts shouldn't technically be a problem. Now I don't know a lot about the different types of lifts you can get cuz I've never had an interest but if you could find a way to have you heel at the same level as your toes or your toes higher then your heel (highly unlikely and problably super uncomfortable) that would solve your problem.

Right I definitely wont wear lifts after surgery right away. Probably wait 3 months after consolidation to wear them in church and then maybe a year after I can start using them more.

Wearing them wouldn't detrimental but atleast wait for ballerina and walking unassisted. After that it would make no sense that the screws would get messed up only way that happens is if you put too much weight on them before your bone is ready to pull its weight.

The problem was not the heel. I was wearing elavator shoes before which made me walk funny. Those same people would be supicious if they saw a heel bigger than the size of a normal dress shoe. With my insoles I walk normally and they don't suspect as the shoe looks normal. I must say that im starting to feel pain in my calfs but I think its more do to me gaining so much weight in all my years of using them never felt pain in my calfs before until know.

Are lifts bad for the spine? Because I plan  to use 2 inches until my surgery.

No bad posture I bad for the spine shoe lifts are bad for calve muscles you should stop wearing them at least a month before surgery and stretch you hamstrings and Achilles' tendon every day or you'll seriously regret it once you start lengthening

the heels affect the body of course (if its too high), its not recommended for women to wear it a lot specialy pregnant women, so there is reason.
you can wear a thick shoes such as Cat and Timber there is no heels and its healthier too

I think of you wear excessive ones like wome. Do 4 inch could affect spine. I have 8 years using them never had back pain.

I'm positive lifts don't effect spine unless lifts make your posture lazy somehow which I'm sure it's possible but it shouldn't. And any basic hamstring stretch like touching your toes is cruciale as you will be laying in bed for the vast majority of the time and your hamstrings are bound to shorten. And the only way I found effective at stretching my calves before surgery is put toes up against the wall leg straight and lean into it if it's not stretching enough.(lift your toes up off the ground make sure he'll stays flat on the ground) I'm sure you could find more things but those are the two most important muscles to keep loose to avoid any extra complications after surgery especially the hamstring often neglected and easier to avoid then ballerina.
