Out of all the things to worry about with CLL, the "morality" of the doctor should be at the bottom of the list.
Research other cosmetic surgeries, all the doctors operate that way.
Advertising for breast enlargement plays on insecurity over having small tits, breast reduction surgery plays on the insecurity of having too large of tits. CLL plays on the insecurity of being short, and the docs try to make money on it.
Nothing wrong with that. Money drives advancements, which benefits guys in the future.
Pick your method, pick the skill level and doctor you can afford. Really is that easy. Just don't let money force you into a doc you know is no good.
That south African doc has good results and is only like what, $50-$60 thousand? That's cheap. (fooling yourself if you think that's a lot of money)
External tibs with Catagni is cheaper still, and he's a good doc.
My pick would likely be Guichet, Mahboubian, and then Paley, in that order, because they all do the method I would pick, have the skill level I want, and i can afford them. Why would I pick less experience to save money?
And with the possible exception of Mahboubian, none of them market very aggressively compared to other cosmetic surgeries and surgeons.
When I had my daughter treated for melanoma, we went with the best surgeon in the USA. She still made a "mistake" that resulted in another surgery...just the way it goes.
