what do you think of this proportions
« on: April 01, 2016, 10:39:03 AM »

ive been making accounts on a lot of LL forums and ive tried to get a lot of information and experience stories about the surgery. while i was doing this ive also made some "internetfriends". one of them is a young guy. 22 years old who did the surgery thanks to financial help from his parents. we talked a lot because i was very interested in his story. he told me that his starting height is 5'7 and that his current height is 6'0. so he lenghthened 5 inches! this is a very huge amount so i asked him some pictures so i could take a look to his proportions. i wanna lengthen 5 inches too so to me his current proportions are a little bit of important. he sent me this picture. i know it is very small but i think his proportions are very clear in this picture. what do you think about this proportions?

He literally looks like a dwarf on stilts  :o.  I can't imagine how bad he'd look in underwear only.
5inches are probably too much to end up with decent proportions. Everything up to 3 inches is fine but more than that will most likely look unnatural.
Edit:
I'd stick to two inches or less though, not only will your proportions be much better but you also have a much higher chance of a decent recovery. At 5 inches there's no way you end up fine when it comes to sports.

the problem with sticking to 2 inches is that 2 inches aint a lot. 95% of people won't even notice that you've grown

I have never seen anyone with a body like that. I think he stands next to a natural 6 footer it would look pretty obvious that limb lengthening happened. Its a trade off, more height for less normal proportions.

would you still do it? giving up your proportions to be 6 ft?

While a certain amount of disproption is inevitable after lengthening only one segment of your body I'd rather look as normal as I could after lengthening.

How about you, is athletic ability and looking more normal important to you or the overall height gain?

im not athletic so being able to do daily things like walking is enough to me. i don't like heavy sports to be honest. but to me overall height is the most important. i think this guy didn't make a bad decision. he claims that nobody notices his proportion and that  nobody made fun of it. but he's profiting from the pros of being tall

Just to clear something up as an adult it's extremely uncommon to make fun of others like children do so just because no one says anything doesn't mean no one notices, I wouldn't mistake politeness for acceptance. That being said if athletics doesn't matter to you and height is all that matters then go to the 5 inches.

thats true but i wonder why making fun of height is pretty common under adults. however 5 inches would give me the most ideal height. i will be 6'1 then. being a perfect height like that compensates all the cons for me. everything has pros and cons. thats life

This is a very dumb attitude in the long run, you might get away with not being active while you are young. If you hit the age of 40-50 however, you'll have to stay active in order to keep a healthy cardio-vascular system. Sports keep you young and prevent diseases like diabetes, strokes, heart attacks, cancer and depression.
I can tell you that the amount he lengthened will cause trouble when he'll get older. At the age of 22 you are supposed to be at the peak of your physical abilities, yet he probably already has issues running at a moderate to fast pace.
This surgery has probably reduced his life expectency by quit a bit, keep that in mind when lengthening this much.

Btw, I can tell you that 95% of the people noticed his proportions, no human being has natural proportions like this. While kids would make fun of him, adults usually stay polite and act like nothing is wrong and then they talk bad about him behind his back.
He probably just tries to convince himself that everything is fine although the reality is quit different.
I didn't want to appear rude or anything, this is just my honest oppinion.

Did he do 5 inches on one segment or two? how many cm per segemnt?

I can see a massive femur lengthening (Look at the distance between knee from the torso and those small hands)

guys I have to confess anything to you. first off all this guy is a semi famous dutch rapper who probably never thinks about his height. I can guarantee you that he never lengthened himself since he is not rich and he has been like this since he was upcoming. this guy is a 100% natural 6 footer. why did I decide to "fool" you guys? some of you maybe remember the topic I started a few days ago called "stop thinking about your proportions" because me as a 5'8 guy has the same sitting height as a 6'6 guy. nobody believed me and some even started to hate on me for this! yall said that it was a mind illusion. but I can tell you that his proportions are very normal in Holland. nobody thinks his proportions are weird. its never mentioned in his comment section on the internet! im probably the only one who noticed. do you still think that claiming that my sitting height is the same as 6'4/6 guys is an illusion? that guys all look like him and it is normal in Holland. even yall would think theyre unproportional. just compare my body (I posted a photo of my body in that topic) to his and I guarantee that you would agree that my sitting height is more than his. do you understand me why I told you not to think about proportions? this guy is natural 6 foot but my sitting height is taller than his. the music video where I took the photo from: don't bash me for this I just want yall to stop being proportion obsessed so you can live your life with more happiness!

I'm sorry my friend. I didn't understand you well then. I just wanted to cure all the people over here from their proportion neurosis. you really don't have to care about it that much. but I wouldn't recommend it since lengthening a lot is bad for your health

Wow not bad, I honestly believed you.
I still don't get your point? He looked really bad in this pic and the stuff we said about a 5inch lengthening are true non the less.

Edit
Your sitting height is still lower than the one of a 6'5 guy, you said that you didn't even measure it, you substracted your insesm from your total height.

His point? That if he would have said that this guy didnt lengthen one inch you would have believed him and would have said "He looks completely normal". The fact that he said that he did LL made you believe he is disproportionate even though he isnt. People post LL look like that since taller people usually have longer legs and arms.

So the guy in the OP pic is natural? No LL?

So he's just ugly as f*ck than? lol

And it sure looks like he is wearing lifts in the pic too?

Good job noname, that was a good way to make your point.

Still not ever doing that much though. I'd be ecstatic with 5cm and no major complications. I would never do more than 6cm.

If he didn't have LL, he is naturally bad-looking (proportion wise)  :-\
I've been to Holland several times and also met a lot of Dutchmen in Germany, but I I've never come across anyone who looked even remotely as leggy as this guy.

100% natural 6 footer my arse

1. He is probably using elevator shoes. Look at the distance from his knees to ground, compare with the one from his knees to his probably compressed ballsack.
2. His overall looks are terrible. Please don't use him as an example to follow.
3. Music is horrendous. I don't get the lyrics but they probably suck too.
4. He is trying to act gangsta but he looks ankward as fuark. He is trying to make us jelly of his expensive cars but those can be bought second hand for less than $20k. Hell, he is using a f*cking Volkswagen where a decent rapper would use a Lamborghini.
5. You made me lose 3 minutes of my life by watching this video. I could have used those 3 minutes to take a walk with my short but still-proportionated legs, play some chess or watch a decent p0rn clip.

Now on the serious side, if you lengthen 5 inches, looks should paradoxically be the last of your concerns. I would be much more worried about having to spend years to recover a normal walking, or risking myself to early arthritis.

Peace and love.

His name is 'Boef' and the music really doesn't matter. nobody ever made a comment about his proportions. having long legs can be natural too. there's no golden ratio. and you should read more careful. i don't recommend lengthening a lot since it is dangerous! it can damage your athletic ability a lot! but i was talking about looks! some people are scared to lengthen too much because they think they will look like a spider! they will look long legged that's true. but being "disproportonial" can be natural too.

i can't say anything about him wearing lifts or not but i can say that once youre thinking a lot about height you will think everybody with boots/timberlands or hi-tops wears elevator shoes. and in this case it doesn't matter if he's wearing lifts or not because of his femurs. his femurs alone are already longer than his whole upper body. lifts can't have effect on that.

As natural as being ugly, short, or having just one arm. But it doesn't mean it should be your goal. And If his legs were really that long (I don't believe it), pretty sure that people would have made comments about his proportions.
And I read your post as carefully as my scattered brain allows me. My "serious note" was just a personal disclaimer to avoid being identified with the proportion nazis.

his femurs alone are already longer than his torso wich is already "disproportional". lifts don't have any effect on femur length. so even "without lifts" he would be still disproportionaite like you  since his femur is longer than his torso. and people don't make comments about it because theyre not height/proportion obsessed like people on this forum. that's why. there are a lot more people who are like him and it is not unusual in holland thats another reason. youre just very stubborn. you just can't understand that most people don't give that much attention to proportions like you

You don't know if his femurs are longer than his torso, so stop repeating it to support your personal bias. And what do you mean with "disproportionaite like you"?

The picture i posted shows clearly that his femurs are longer than his torso. I'm sorry but if you still don't believe that his legs are really long then you will believe nothing. I just wanna make it clear that havibg very long legs can be natural too

This is a great example of someone with long legs. Reminds me of the patient here at paley who did 16cm. I didn't think twice about it except to say wow you're going to trip a lot of people out when you get out of a chair and stand up. Everyone has their opinions on proportions just how some chicks that get boob jobs get average ones and some get huge ones. We are all entitled to our opinion.
