You're right but you have to understand that nobody gives so much attention to the lil details. You and some old forum members are probably the only one who look so closely to proportions by counting numbers etc. Nobody cares that much about proportions like forum members.

You are right. I dont remember ever noticing proportions before thinking about LL. BUT I do think that one should not go and do 8cm per segment (My opinion). I believe that 4-5 inches in total are a max in order to be considered within the normal range.

That's true. It depends on the person. Everybody is unique. I think the reason why my sitting height is similar to 6'5 guys is cuz I got a very big torso. Its 96 cm. Dutch people got an average sitting height of 94/95. Most 5'8 guys got big torsos too.

By lengthening that much you prolly have to lengthen your arms too. But thats no problem since it is possible

Sitting height is not a good indicator of torso length. Never has been really. It's part torso length and part fat and/or muscle in the glutes (ass). It's more of a lazy reference for overall body proportion.

That pic is not at all representative of what would most sitting heights are. The woman even looks like she has a pretty big butt (Dat ass).

The only thing I ever came close to considering as being a good indication of leg length relative to height is True Inseam; but that's hard to measure and get a proper reference for since most people consider inseam as being pant length.

How does one measure true inseam? It's pubic arch of the pelvis bone to the floor, no?

Yes it is, lengthening 8 inches is dangerous too. But this topic isn't about danger. It's about that most people won't look weird after lengtheing a lot since taller people don't have longer torso's most of the time.

If my torso isn't shorter than average, I'm gonna go get all that money back from my tailor for shortening my shirts!

And why are people so cavalier? Its ok, I'll just lengthen my arms too...what??

This is your life, your health, and your only body! I live with chronic pain already. Pain  in my arm everyday, 24/7!

Chronic pain can literally drive you insane if you let it.

I'd really like to see a picture of your proportions, it must look really weird if your torso is as long as the one of a 6'5 guy.I personally have never seen a person like this in my life and I pay a lot of attention to proportions.
6'5 guys almost always have longer torsos than me and I'm 5'10, it's far more likely that you just see things differently, in order to convince yourself how unimportant proportions are. You probably have a slightly disturbed perception when it comes to your body. No offense man, but what you've said is BS.
Look at the picture that was posted by Theuprising, this shows how torso length and height correlate.

if you had paid some attention to the pic i had posted then maybe you would understand. it is a photo of a man and a woman next to each other. the man's sitting height is just 1 inch more but his overall height is like a whole foot more. dont reply with bull  like you have to measure inseem or you have to look to hands too cuz only proportion obsessed people look at that kind of things and thats maybe 0,001% of the total world population lol

That doesn't translate well to overall proportions. Sit next to a guy 3-4 inches taller then you. Notice how even if you guys are at eye contact he will be more balanced out.

Your also playing with mind-games here. There's no way in hell someone who's 6'0+ has the same torso length as you.

Your torso doesnt look longer than any normal guy. You do look a bit chubby (which would explain your sitting height: fatter ass=highier sitting height).

In the end you look like a normal 173 guy

maybe, ive posted this picture a few months ago on the forum with another account and asked people bout my desire to lengthen up to 6'1. most said that it is possible cuz according to them my legs were short. it can be very subjective

If you didn't make a mistake at measuring, it has got to be your ass that is responsible for your sitting height. Your torso doesn't look long at all, it looks average for a 5'8 guy.

i never measured my sitting height but i know that pants with a length of 77 cm fit me perfectly. 173-77=96. maybe the ass still made a difference. i dont know

Noname you should probably measure you sitting height. The length of your pants also depends on the style.

Noname you should pliteasure you sitting height. The length of your pants also depends on the style.

I wear normal jeans. I don't sag my pants and i also don't wear them too high. I bought jeans that are a little bit too long for me cuz of my elevator shoes
