Precice 3? Full weight bear?
« on: March 18, 2016, 05:46:20 AM »

I plan to do internal femur with Paley in 2018. Do you think by that time there will be a new version of precice nail which provides full weight bearing? Any Paley patient has a clue about this?

Consider surgery in 2018 with Dr. Paley.

Do we have a time frame for when Precice 3 is coming out? I want to do an inch on my tibias, but the timing might be so it behooves me to wait for Precice 3. Paley and Rozbruch told me that I could walk with crutches if doing tibs (because I have a strong upper body), but I'd have to be extremely careful. Their apparent concern worries me, so maybe I'll just wait for this.

Why not considering externals for such a low amount?
How can you risk knee pain for an inch? :O
