I personally want to get CLL done with Paley but I'm beginning to see that my youth would be wasted in such a venture so I've been looking at other methods.

Currently I'm looking at getting LON done with Dr Giotikas given that I live in the UK, it shouldn't take me more than two years to save for the surgery. However my legs are at stake here so I need all the advice I can get. I seriously don't want to end up becoming one of the horror stories on this site

That's great to hear. I'm going to be conservative at only go for a 6cm increase. I would just scrap 5ft 7 at this height and with the right shoes I'll be at my nation's average.

I'm currently reading a diary with Dr Giotikas but I'm worried about one of the diaries showing a lack of consolidation. I don't want my athletiscm to be too affected by the surgery. After all I simply want to be able to walk into a gym without being judged

What are the chances of fat embolism for LON? I'm inclined to believe external methods are safer as this is what is used in the medical field for non cosmetic leg lengthening. The surgery honestly terrifies me but I know it's my only chance of leading a normal life.

How long would it take for me to recover from using the LON method if I were to lengthen to 6cm at 0. 6mm a day?
I preferably want to lengthen and be home by Christmas without my family knowing. If I still have a strange gait I'm hoping I can pass it off as a leg injury.

I believe you'll lose some athletism with this surgery, I don't know how much. The patient of Giotikas with lack of consolidation seems to be ok now.

I don't believe hiding the surgery from your own family is a good idea. I can't estimate when you will be walking normal.
