Internet complexed me
« on: January 31, 2016, 05:20:00 PM »

I'm 173 (177 with shoes) and on the street I'm normal
I often meet people 5-10 cm longer but very rarely older girls or when they have heels
while on the internet I feel at the limit of dwarfism
all the girls pretend exceed 1m75 while my aunt 1m70 already exceeds 90% of women
when I discuss the size between my friends even more girls than I have at 1 or 2 cm of me
girls who I claim to put a head 1m60 yet I am not 1m80

even the short girl pretend to be a 173 cm
why so many people lie on their height? I think we're not the only complexed guy

It's not just females. Most people lie about their height. I do a bit of work in football and when I see some of the documented heights of footballers... it's ridiculous! There is someone I know and she's around 5'3, yet she's utterly convinced she's 5'5.5 which is my height. I genuinely swear everyone adds on an inch or so, rounded up obviously. Therefore I might start calling myself 5'7!

Yes I'm agree
a friend pretend to be 172 (so 175 with his Air Max) and he is on under my eyes level
I have many case like that
On internet many pretend to be 190-95 but in their photo they seems 185 max
My uncle is 188 and all people say he's tall but in internet he's just on the average
i go to forum and the height topic are regular
in Jeuxvideo.com (18-25, a general french forum) more pretend having grown 20 cm in 2 years (what seems impossible or very risky) and the majority pretend to be taller than 180
but i dont understand how they can lie on her identity card, passport, etc

Once my father told people my height and nobody believed (I was in slipper without my shoes)

I think the max that is reasonable for one to add is 1 inch provided he will be wearing formal shoes that add around 2 - 2.5 cm. For example, I have a profile in a dating site and claim to be 5'10 and when I go out with a girl , I am indeed 5'10.

I think that most people have no idea what height is really 6' or 185cm... I mean I believe that most people are around 5'9-5'10 and that at that height they seem like 6' to the women. According to the internet, the average height must be 6'5 or something because for some reason everyone over there are 190cm+. I rarely see anyone at those heights.

Take everything with a grain of salt and humour on the Internet. There's so many liars, trolls, idiots, frustrated and hateful people. My general rule is to leave the internet (at least for a while, visit only in moderation) when you see it does you no good.

It´s pretty easy to cheat a little, even on official papers, I added 2cm´s and the people there didn´t notice. So my passport height is actually 180.
That´s weird since the french average must be somewhere around 175, according to the statistics at least. Being a 5´10 austrian, is pretty much spot on average I can say.

People on internet lie about EVERYTHING: height, weight, residence, job, etc... Internet has become the best place to find lies.

Are you telling me our members aren't internationally recognized underwear models like they claimed to be?

You mean to tell me you question the fact that some members here claimed that they get to date a new girl every single time they go out?

No, this is an ongoing joke in old forum and this one. Several people claim to be underwear models like old forum admin, or consistently tell us how good looking they are.
