I've never heard of that being contraindicated for LL.

the reason i was having a worry was because i still have bio screws in both my right tibia and right femur. So i was wondering if it would make my bones unfit for the surgery or complicate the existing situation.
Also even though i can run/jump/sprint, i cant indulge in rough contact sports. And i occasionally have my knee pain after playing a game of football or long running.

So i was wondering if i would be eligible for the surgery.

I think that the best way to know it is to ask a limb lengthening surgeon. This is a very expecific medical question. In this forum its easy to contact some of them.

What the hell is with people having a wing span 10cm+ over their height? I'm so jealous.

Hi 5'10needed

Yes You can undergo surgery after ACL surgery. It is very important knee stability for LL. A non stable knee should Not be lengthened as It migth end up luxated. This happens for example in case of fibula hemimelia; most patients have ACL agenesya related with LL discrepancy so we fix first knee stability doing ACL reconstruction and then lengthening. In selected cases we can perform knee stabilization and LL in the same surgery.

One thing You need to know is that depending on the technique You use for lengthening interferencial screw should be removed before inserting an internal rod. This is specially important when doing tibiae. For femur It should Not interfere with the insertion of the rod.

Best regards and Merry Christmas
