3cm is a very small amount. You could easily have a full recovery in 3 years with a good doctor.

because i am doing the surgery for 3 cm so that i have the minimum height to qualify for the police service in my country, other wise i would have opted for 6 cms. but right now i just want to surpass 165cm

I cant comment on wether you will be able to endure training but i can comment on ther pre entry physicals.

They will know you did LL and if you are able to hide it and they find out later, they might go after you for lying. They check your whole body before you join.

I totally agree. Doing a ll surgery and thinking of joining military is definitely not a good idea my friend. They will know about it because I believe a full body check is required before joining armies so not recommended. Not trying to demotivate you but it's a fact!

3cm shouldnt be a problem anywhere after sufficient recovery time. When getting to 5cm or 6cm it's all about if you recover well enough and what service. If you have a perfect recovery great but if you get hiccups it might be tough joining the corps or being in Army infantry because the physical standards are tough and the training places strain on everyone not just combat MOSs. I can honestly tell you i got out and dont know anyone who hadnt broken something, had surgery, or endured stress fractures while in the corps. Active btw if you go reserve none of that should be a problem
