What's On Your Mind?
« on: November 25, 2015, 12:53:34 AM »

Just a thread for posting something that's on your mind, but not big enough to start a new thread for.

I'll start: Monegal seems to be the #1 doctor as of these past months. Is anything negative posted about him so far?

LL at end of 2016 money and balls permitting.  Looking forward to it; recently divorced, 165cm is making online dating (already with many faults) discriminating.  45 years old but may live another forty years?  Go for it

What's your situation?

I would say if you're not at least 75% sure you want LL, the answer's no. You have to want LL really bad.

Dreams are manipulations of your subconscious mind.  I usually dream of whatever is stressing me out during the day...... How come I never dream of going through LL?   How come I never dream of life after LL?

Does this mean that I am currently still dreaming right this moment and LL is not real?   Think about it, this whole LL thing is a little surreal to be honest

2017 or 2018 will be my year. The year I finally become average height and am as tall as 50% of men who I pass on a day to day basis.

God, I wish I had a time machine and could just fast-forward to my life post tibia LL...

I know that feel, bro. I remember like it was yesterday, I was 168 and constantly imagining myself at a normal height. It's been more than 2 years now and in 4 days I'll removing my last femur external to stand 182 cms. Can't believe I've actually managed that.

Wow man. Congratulations. That's a huge and highly respectable accomplishment. I'll never see anything over 178, but 175-178 is my ultimate goal after I do tibias. Not willing (nor do I have the proportions or the time) to do any more than that. I would be happy between 175 and 178.

I can't wait until I can somehow get there. Being average height (or better) is central to so many things as a guy (though I will say it definitely doesn't guarantee happiness or a good life, in and of itself). I need this to end, and really see no other way aside from a second LL. I just wish I could start tibia LL tomorrow. Therapy ain't helping either. I know I have a lot of other stuff going for me, but I still feel like it's all negated by being below average height.

Enjoy your life at a great normal height. As you've probably seen...below 178 (maybe 175, and that's pushing it), you may as well be living on a different planet (in America, that is).

GENERAL QUESTION:: Why are patients so scared to tell the truth about their complications? Have they been threatened? Is it because they desire a good aftercare? Or is it that people don't like to admit they have made a bad choice or let others know that they have made a bad choice?

I don't think in the USA people will discriminate you as long as you are 172, that is like 5'8.. Most likely you wouldnt be the favorite of the stereotypical blong high school cheerleeder captain that wants to go to Princeton and later on the Harvard Law to become a lawyer like her daddy, but nevertheless nobody would discriminate you, professionally at least and as for dating, there are many girls that are around 165-6 and are in the range of a 172 guy.
