I just don't see how you can do internals lengthen and have the rod removed in your leg, and then somehow the bone will be okay after a lot of LL that most people do. 7cm for example on the tibia or femur how is your bone not going to collapse on itself? I just don't get how the rod is removed out a formed bone and no problems are had. Do some people never remove the rod afterwards due to the bone being incapable of going the wanted length which a person did? Such as 12cm on the femur for example.
