Don't think so, he commented on his own video:

"No it wasn't cosmetic, after a motorbike accident my leg was 7cm shorter, had this frame on for 14 months to gain back the 7cm. it didn't cost me anything as i claimed it on insurance, it was done by a surgeon in Tasmania, Australia. thanks for watching"

It isn't a joke. Jungle is 100% pure bred Vietnamese  8) .... which is a disadvantage when it comes for height genetic these days.

The man in the video isn't Jungle. But he is very ballsy for removing the frames himself.
