According to Dr. Barinov:

"From my experience I can say that those who have well-trained strong muscles grow harder, their muscles are very rigid. That's why we recommend our patients to stop running and start stretching exercises before doing the surgery."

If strong muscle really matters in bad way, then most legs are risky to lengthen

Most short people who work out have uber strong muscle bellies in their legs :/..

Like look at the calves on a short person at most gym's who's in shape and then look at most skinny tall guys not a single calve muscle can thus be seen...

What if the inverse happens? Where you have noticeably weak muscles in your legs. I ask because as it stands that's pretty much where I'm at. Hell even walking up 2-3 flights of stairs get's my legs tired. For context it's not like I have a disease of sorts, but it's like I've never done leg day.

What would be harder for you is to build up strength afterwards however, you probably would do LL much better than I could or anyone who works out a lot.

Hi Alu

Although I am not a ller yet, I think strong leg muscles will not give you any advantage.  In fact, flexibility during lengthening period is more important to lengthen more efficiently.  However, strong upper body will be good to hep move.  So stretch your legs and build upper body.   :)
