He's rich and pretty much already won at life...the question isn't why hasn't he; it's why would he lol.

Plus a man of his fame would be ridiculed to death if he did it. When it comes to cosmetic surgery this is one of the most extreme and one which would induce lots of shaming from the general public. If it was less invasive, say through what Eben Alsberg is experimenting on, then maybe it wouldn't be as bad.

I don't know. Im just an inch taller than him in the netherlands and my height doesnt holding me back from success. Its just an internal desire to be taller like many other things. And for him too cuz he wears lifts. And he is rich enough to keep it a secret mobey can buy almost anything

Ive searched some info about eben alsberg. Hope i can restore my growth plates within 5 years. No issues with proportions again

But don't you think people would notice if he did? It would be obvious he underwent it; if Cruise is aware of it (which I doubt) I don't think he'd even want to considering the large target he'd put himself infront. I mean most of us wouldn't want to share that we did this with others (for a multitude of reasons).

And yeah with Alsberg it would be nice especially if I want to restore proportionlaity to my arms later...but it's honestly like years away so one step at a time.

I don't think people would notice, they will just think he decided to wear his lifts all the time since it is pretty well known that he uses lifts. And maybe he isnt afraid people would notice since lifts are also taboo. And yeah an operation to restore your plates would be fantastic. But yeah i dont think you can do it for free....

I think that Tom Cruise is extremely insecure about his height as he wears three inch lefts fairly often. If he "won" at life and was completely confident, he wouldn't feel the need to wear lifts, now would he?

I think he probably knows about LL, but he can't get it because he'd have to disappear for 5+ months, and A-list celebrities like him can't just disappear for half a year without enormous media speculation and investigation.

If the media found him out, then he would be endlessly ridiculed and it could affect his career. He is kind of famous for being short so a height increase would definitely be noticed.

But maybe it will take a big-name celebrity being discovered undergoing LL to make the public aware of just how bad short people can have it in life, opportunity-wise to some and self esteem-wise to others.

He probably only wears the lifts to look better in pictures with the tall supermodels he's banging regularly. And with all the running he does in his movies, CLL would be terrible for him.

so you say that if you do 8 cm of lengthening you will never be able to be athletic again? i mean for sure you wont be able to be a messi but just running must be possible

pretty sure he's 171 so he's not short enough to need it, and with 4cm lifts being easy to wear he gets to 175!

This question is a little silly. He is just too famous to do CLL. There is no way he can keep it in secret, even for 2 inches. The human society is just so brutal to dig out all the information to blemish anyone. People always laugh at or criticize those who did any plastic surgery even for small ones like double eye lids, nose, or lips or whatever. If people find out Tom did CLL, his career will end.

Why do people care about whether other did any plastic surgery? There would be many potential reasons. Let me think.

1. If other people look better by surgery, they will feel insecure because they will look worse or not better.
2. Those who wish to do surgeries but can't afford surgery because of money, time, or whatever reasons, they are jealous of people who look better after surgery.
3. Those who want to do surgeries but have no gut to do, they are also jealous.
4. It is nature of competition. All human wish to be better than others, So if they feel they are losing the game, they want to win the game by making fun of others.

Anyway, there will be more reasons. But, I just feel so bad about this kind of human nature. I think all people have right to live the way they want, if it doesn't affect others life. If ones want to do any plastic surgery, I believe that they should have right to go for it. Why others need to care about this? My biggest concern is also this on top of time and recovery. Anyway, whoever notices or makes fun of me in the future after CLL, I will just cut that relationship for good. That is all. I will keep or make friends who understand or do not know CLL.

THIS!!!! Tom Cruise does not give a damn about being the tallest or taller. He will get the attention of ALL the girls in a room and he would take your girl in a heart beat no matter if you are 6'4". He will always be that popular kid in highschool everyone wants to be around and no one will give a damn about his height including himself. Get real, his fame trumps all!

It's not about height, but about value.

Tom Cruise has an insane amount of value however you measure it (dating, social, professional) Disabling himself for a year + would be insanity.

I think if Tom were 163-165cm he would most likely considered LL. reality is he is not that short and he is extremely successful and 53 years old. I always wonder about Bruno Mars and Bow Wow

Bruno Mars 5' 5" and Bow Wow 5' 3"-5'4" LL will definitely be beneficial to them and boast their appearance plus they are still young.

Human psyche is more complex than just "wears lifts - therefore extremely insecure and not confident". He could be wearing them because he likes to look taller, but still is not bothered enough by his height to undergo such an extreme surgery. It's like saying about a person who dyes his hair blonde all the time that he's "extremely insecure about his hair colour".
