Ok guys, I was doing very well for months with height neurosis, than I was just in a situation with a girl I liked who went for a 6' 1" dude instead of me.

Neurosis overload trigger!!!

Anyway, I really hope it wasn't because be was taller, but I question stuff like this. Do you think in reality, most short or average height girls care that much about 5' 9" vs 6' 1"? Is this all a imaginary problem I've created in my head?

I should mention that every day when I walk down the vastly populated streets of New York City, I see a couple with a shorter man and taller woman, for whatever it's worth.

i never faced such situation, i'm studying in an engineering school so girls there might be a bit more intelligent and less superficial.
However, i must admit that i get " a kick in the chest" lol, each time i see a hottie with a very tall but not handsome guy (6'3 and +)  .The guy might have plenty of other qualities, he might have a good carreer, but i find this to be more common than he should be, considering the fact that guys who are 6'3" represent 3 to 10 % of the males population.
Beyond that, i think  there is a correlation between the height of the guy, and the beauty of the girl.I know what some of you are going to say "i'm 5'7" and girls i pulled were 10/10 blablabla" but this is just a trend i have noticed, it's not necessarily true, so don't be offended, this is not an exact science.

you are correct. endomorphisme is quite dense, and he is probably schizophrenic, imagining distorted realities. Haha. The matter of fact is, as I said above, my model friends prefer either shorter guys or guys who are not much taller than them. I would not go for a guy very much above six feet.

haha i agree with u.. so many guys on here claim how much attention they get from women and how they pull the best babes.. i know people like that in real life and they are pretty   looking and hook up with butt ugly chicks and claim they are supermodels.. guys i know that pull the most chicks are always very modest and dont talk about themselves.. so chances that the guys on here talkin about themselves are as sexy as they claim, is very unlikely.. its comical tho so keep it going lol

I've nothing concrete to back this up with but I'd say that (assuming good proportions) taller is always better. Now obviously 2 meters+ might be excessive but allow me to show what I mean.

In this image the man on the left is 196CM and his friend is 184CM. Try to look at them through the eyes of a woman, let's just come clean and admit that the one on the left appears much more masculine, powerful and impressive. There is not that much more to say really, us humans consider body size (height) as desireable. Women find it attractive and for men it evokes respect. Assuming you are not ridiculously (and I do mean ridiculously) tall it will always be more impressive than shorter men around you.

Of course there are other disadvantages of being tall, the world is made for average size humans after all, it can be hard to fit in with shorter friends and obviously there are exceptions to every rule but in general a taller version of you would be more attractive. If this sounds depressing consider that neither is there such a thing as "too handsome" or "too well-liked". There will always be taller, better looking, more successful and more attractive men than you. The key is to reach a height that you are comfortable spending the rest of your life with, from time to time you will be overshadowed like Channing Tatum (the guy on the left) above but such is life I'm afraid.

Also never forget that height is but one thing that makes a person, that 6'1 guy was more attractive than you to that particualar girl. If you had been 190CM you would have had a leg up on him but perhaps what really turned her head was his looks or his charms and he would've gotten her anyway.

Bottom line is being tall is attractive to women much like being good looking is, people come in different sizes and with different faces that is how it has always been.

in away i agree with u when u just look at the photo.. but in real life if u saw them and u were a girl 5'8 or below which is 95% or more of the female population, then the 6'1 dude would get more attention from more of the women.. because they are both tall men so women will compare themselves to everyone around and themselves and see the 6'1 guy as a better height for them as he is still taller than most the men around.. ive often been out with my mate whos about 6'6 and he struggles alot because hes just too tall for most women.. i even say, lets have a crack at those chicks, most of them being around 5,5 to 5'7 and he'll say na they are too short for me.. later on when hes more drunk and realises that he has no other choice he will attempt with them and u can just see how intimidated they are by him.. its almost like they think hes gonna try and murder them or something lol..

Whether they like us at a certain height, whether they are shallow, whether we'll have better chances after LL, how unfair it is blah blah cry cry. Im fking 5'3 and my sex and romantic life are average at times little above. So i find it hilarious that it's always the 5'7 and up dudes that complain about that stupid crap.

If you're not james dean good-looking work on your personality and how you come off, yeah height is important to women much like it is to us. There's women who prefer taller men, but most of them are flexible enough to ignore that preference if you give them something else to work with like a fking personality. Quit crying

i agree with you, besides:
-195 cm is not a common height for a man, most men are shorter than 190 cm.
-a 195 cm guy with a body like him is even rarer.

but who cares though at 5 9 your a great height anyway, many men shorter than you, if anything 5 9 guys have big advantage over 5 7 guys, 6 0 guys with looks and body are special cases.

no point looking at a picture of two guys next to each other, people judge each other in large groups wherein 5 9 is a great height, for all we know in that picture the left guy is 5 5 and right guy 5 1.

Also, many people on here say 6' 6" is too tall for most women. Does that make "Big Bad Vlad" too tall? I'd say a lot of 5' hotties would go for that unfortunately, even though the couple would look odd. Vlad, like Joey Maggs might be exceptions though, because they are also good looking and ripped to shreds.

Who is itsmylife or itsherlife... Jesus.. I am posting because I am sad about my final height of 178 cm. I wanted 180 cm, to get past the cut-off for being a model at runway, though I did enter some but i was rejected also... the scars can be removed by cosmetic surgery as I know good surgeons.

I know it appears I'm contradicting myself, but what I'm trying to say is that a huge man is not universally respected and thought of as an omnipotent being. Some people are intimated to be around them, and prefer to be around normal people. I for one can't imagine a shy little asian girl being attracted to Wladimir for example.
