Who else is getting the procedure done by Paley this Summer?

Wasn't really sure where to put this, and I thought this looked like a good spot for it. Anyway, I'm scheduled for a bilateral femur CLL surgery on July 22nd. I can't say I'm looking forward to having my bones broken and being a cripple for 3-6 months (at best) but I do think my life will improve dramatically with 3 more inches in height.

Holy crap, you are getting your operation EXACTLY a year after me.

Just please be prepared for the worst. Not trying to freak you out but here I am almost a year later and I can only just now jog alright, and have some issues that can't be resolved till the rods are out which probably won't be possible for 6 months.

Granted you should be walking by the 7-8 month mark for sure I'd imagine and many did do better than me in terms of recovery! I can tell you that the 3 inches is more noticeable and life changing than I could have ever imagined on the plus side of things. Never hesitate to message me or post in my thread if you need some help or have a question.

I got some questions for you.
I'm almost 16 years old, 5"4 and won't be growing anymore. Me and my parents have been looking and researching a lot about LLS, and I would glad if you were to talk to me / my dad on Skype or by phone, whatever you prefer.

I'm getting this procedure with Dr. Paley very soon, in about 2 weeks. We can even meet if you want lol.

Wow all of you guys are able to afford Pale at 85,000$-100,000$....I'm so jealous  :( you guys all must make over six figures a year?

Its real expensive man. Especially since you need to do removal, get x rays. It really adds up.

No kidding! But if everything goes well the money we spend on this would've been well worth it. Money will come and go in our lifetimes but our bodies are with us till the end.
