Dr. Xia got expensiver?
« on: June 15, 2015, 09:24:11 PM »

I wrote an e-mail to Dr. Xia and he answered:

From 1 January 2015, the package price is adjusted to USD35,000 for 6-8 cm lengthening and 4 months hospital stay (full boarding), with additional charges at 1500 USD/per extra cm. We require a deposit of USD 7,000 to be paid first to secure a place and a surgery with Dr, Peng Ai-Ming (Dr. Xia?s successor).

------
But on his Website are still the old prices like:-
Package A – Super Comfort, up to 10 cm tibial or femur lengthening (24,000 Euros).

And if I want to lenghen 9 cm, not only 8 cm, does it mean i have to pay 1500 USD extra to the 35 000 USD????
I am confused.

That website hasn't been updated since 2014. The reason for the huge price increase all of a sudden is because the operations are now done at China Rehabilitation Hospital instead of the cheaper Yandan and Guang Ji hospitals.

Dr. Peng actually split from Dr. Xia and went to China Rehabilitation Hospital on his own before being named Xia's successor.
