I am wondering why limb lengthening is steadily getting more expensive instead of getting cheaper due to the higher request? Usually the prices get lower if the request for something rises, somehow I experience the opposite when it comes to limb lengthening. I have written emails to various Dr. so far and almost everyone has raised the price by a couple thousand euros within a year.

Probably because even though the demand is higher, the amount of doctors who are specialists in lengthening, have the experience to do CLL safely and correct any problems, and are also willing to perform stature lengthening for patients without dwarfism or deformity, has remained constant, so they can afford to bump the prices because there are not many doctors to choose from. It'll probably get even more expensive as the doctors on the list start retiring.

It´s just getting weird, Dr. Jamal for instance charged 31 500 euros back in 2014 and now he is charging 35 500. That´s an increase of 12% in a single year.

The law of supply and demand works here as everywhere.

LL is classed as cosmetic surgery which is expensive. I had genu varum ie bow legs corrected with Ilizarov frames for free because it was not classed as cosmetic surgery. I could of had LL done for free after correction but that was only due to a good natured surgeon an exception rather than the rule.
