If you do external LL with one of the top doctors, and lengthen a safe amount such as 5 cm, what's the worst thing that can happen? Can you lose a limb? Both limbs? Can you die? Can you become a cripple?

I just want to know what the worst case scenario is.

Death or being crippled.  Even the best doctors will make you sign a form that says those outcomes are possible.  Nobody will guarantee it won't happen.

For me, losing your legs is the worst option. I rather die man. Because you will spend the rest of your life thinking about the stupid decision that you had made.

Well even if you lose your legs it ain't that bad. I mean, there are some great prosthesis being developed, plus I work on the computer so I value my arms/hands more than anything. It would still suck, but it's only a worst case scenario. And if death occurs I hope it's not too painful LOL.
