Recover after tibial lengtheing
« on: May 05, 2015, 11:23:55 PM »

The more diaries I read, the more I get the impression that femur patients tend to get back a higher percentage of their former functions, compared to the one's who lengthened their tibias.
Does anyone know more about this phaenomenon? The only long term tibial LLer I know about is MDOW and he seems to have lost a lot of his endurance due to the lengthening.

Well. I've gotten that feeling as well but obviously femur patients have got their fair share of problems. OldieButGoldie said he was much less explosive.

I think tibias just take a lot longer to recover, especially for those who do 7 and 8 cm, and by that point a lot of people just leave the forum and stop posting.
