Is it okay to diet once lengthening is over?
« on: April 27, 2015, 07:01:55 PM »

Say I decided to do externals (my preferred route) and months down the line already into consolidation I started to gain weight from lack of exercise. Is it okay to diet to shed some of the pounds then? I know you shouldn't diet during lengthening but what about once you're done with that? My grandpa gained a lot of weight after being sedentary for so long because of an injury and I want to avoid that as much as possible.

i would recommend eating a lot

i consolidated  very quickly, and  hardly ever walked

it's probably partly genetic, but i also ate a ton, which i'm sure helped

You could substitute all the junk for healthy things and you won't need to diet.

I was really hungry and sleepy during my consolidation phase.  No way would I have considered dieting.  The body needs energy to build all that new bone and muscle.
