Thank you, I think the same but I'm waiting to wear regular trousers in order to have the final thought :)

Your proportions look great. And your legs look deprived of all fat and muscle, you aren't kidding about the muscle mass loss. Is this a common occurrence?

It is a common occurrence, the same that happens if don't bear the whole of your body weight for a long time, and that happens if you use cruches..

Proportion thought: I would like to suggest you guys, in general, for tibial lengthening, a maximum amount of something like 6 cm. That's an average amount, because it is obiouvsly dependant from starting height, but, in my opinion and based on my actual proportions, for a guy with a starting height that is from 160 to 170, it would be close to to the "right" one.
I have done 8 cm, and honestly I'm happy with that as long as it will be acceptable wearing regoular clothes (and I'm still waiting to check it up), but I would be clearly more proportioned with a couple of centimeters less.

Hi Lumiere by looking at you tibia and your femur it not 8cm that you have lenthened , its approximatley 4xmax 5cm on you tibia have been lenthened you have to get a ct scan to check the acuratley how much you really lenthen as most LL surgens lie about how much people lenthened

I measured the gap between bone segments from an 1:1 xray, and it is 8 cm. It is also confirmed by my "new" height, that is 7.5 cm more than it was before. Probably my proportions were not optimal before the surgery... This is a picture of me taken before the surgery (when my legs were MUCH stronger :) ):

Yes you had very muscular legs but honestly its not even 7cm there xrays are not accurate for cheching bone length you need to check with ct scan

Did the stress of the procedure cause you to lose your chest hair?

X-Ray direct measurament is probably not accurate, I agree, but I've double checked measuring my final height... So I can't be wrong! :)

All doctors use X-rays to evaluate lengthening. Even Dr. Guichet and Dr. Paltry use X-ray and are fully honest.

Hey Lumiere

Your diary is one of the best in the all forum!
7.5 cm in just 10 months, no ballerina foot and no other complications at all.
It looks like everything went so smoothly.
You diary is enlightening for me!
Very inspiring, I would definitely have my LL in Italy with Catagni after seeing this.

Keep posting, I want as many info as possible and want to see the very final result.
Please do not despair after removal.
Congrats

Hey Please, I'll surely continue posting after frames remotion, just to keep you guys informed about my recovery process. Yesterday I took a picture of myself and, probably because of the angle, I'm really impressed about how my proportions look fine. The only thing is that my arms look a bit short, but that will be not a problem at all. I'm also gaining muscolar mass day by day, just walking and having some kind of squatt at home.
Here the picture:

Lumiere might I ask what your inseam is? You do have generally great proportions for your build; I wouldn't recommend lengthening anymore however. But still great job!
