Does leg lengthening lead to permanent muscular weakness?

 A question for the vets: can you get muscularly stronger than you were pre-ll?

I'm no LL vet yet, though I'm eventually going to be one. I can tell you that no, it doesn't lead to muscle weakness. In fact, my lengthened bone segments are actually bigger than their counterparts. Like, my lengthened tibia is bigger than my non-lengthened one and the same for femurs. I'm talking muscles. I think they have a name for that effect, but LL actually only promotes muscle growth.

Yeah I had my fixators removed 3 months ago. Obviously I'm not a vet and yet...

Not in terms of pure strength.  I can do more on the leg press machine now than I could before LL.

It's the biomechanical changes that got to me in terms of endurance and agility.
