What to do if you get robbed while doing ll?

If you go to a foreign country alone and are living in an apartment, lengthening your legs, with a helper with you, you wake up and find that all your belongings are gone.

What do you do?
Where do you store your finances in the first place?
How do you access it?

I was thinking of this topic for a while now. That helper should be from the hospital and he/she must be reliable. If they steal something you can report them to the hospital etc... Also living in a hotel is more safe than an apartment, generally speaking.

Unless the country has high crime rates against foreigners, someone has to plan the hell out of taking your stuff. It's not worth the effort, unless if the person knows you in some way.
