OK LLERS, TELL ME WHAT YOU WOULD DO

I'm getting my left leg corrected june 1 in nyc
 
My left leg for those that don't know    is misaligned in more than 1 plane

1- frontal view, it's knock kneed noticeably

2- side view, procurvatum, noticeable

3-  not aligned where the the union is

 as you can maybe guess, its hurting my gait considerably...

i have 2 options...

1- taylor frame...  correct the deformities over the course of about 3 weeks,then wear the frame for 3 or so more months

2-correct the deformities during the surgery,then use a nail....  take nail out maybe 14 months later... no external frame,no dealing with pinsites,etc

my dr said either one is fine... asked him about knee pain, he said he hasnt really had that happen

what would you??? especially  the members that have had a nail put in... let me hear it

I'd do the TSF.  3 months in a frame is no reason to risk knee issues.

ok medium... ill take that into consideration

just not looking forward to a frame for a few months, though  will be much easier  this time around

i have that too actually

medium.. when you  had the nail in your knee,  was it noticeable(excluding kneeling)?
