Nothing against doctors and nothing against college educated individuals. What I'm saying is that these two Spanish people are more emotional than rational and I'm asking if Spanish people in general are like that.
Lol, stereotypes exist as a time saving tool. You can easily put people in a box when you find out their nationality/ethnic background. Unfortunately, we don't have all the time in the world to give everyone a fair chance to get to know them, so we have to make "educated guesses on their personality and tendencies".
When I meet a girl I'm attracted to, one of the questions that inevitably comes up is "where are you from?". Some times she will ask, and sometimes I will ask, and it's not just to find things in common, but it is a way of pre-judging someone's character and integrity before you decide to spend anymore time getting to know them.
In a "perfect world", everyone is the same, no one stereotypes. Unfortunately we live in the "real world".
To answer your question, I believe that Spanish people are more emotional than other nationalities. Being more emotional doesn't mean that they are less rational though. Emotions are genetic, and rational thinking comes from your education or lack there of.
