Yeah, but that is the only way to go taller. Like someone here said, only by going through hell can we change our body's anatomy.

Yes, am so scared since yesterday :( :(

this vid got me thinking about the future when all this blood and trauma to the body doesnt have to occur

but surgery is controlled trauma.. think of those who got into accidents.. much worse.

I've seen some other videos that don't look as bad.  The videos I saw of paley, Guichet, and maboubian seem less barbaric.  I will post if I find them.

That video is scary though.  I look at my legs and I don't want them getting hacked up like that.  :'(

Agreed. Though I gotta say the worst part of that for me was the american psycho type music on the background

This is standard procedure with LON. Love how Dr Parihar added the cheerful music in the background  :D

Favorite part is when the nail is inserted and the blood just shoots out.

You still won't feel anything during the operation, or be able to see what they're doing to you. You'll just hear everything unless you fall asleep. I stayed up the whole night prior to the surgery so I fell asleep on the operating table almost immediately.

It's good to see what exactly you're putting yourself through. Everyone should watch limb lengthening surgical videos to really understand the point that you're putting yourself through an enormous physical and psychological challenge by getting your legs lengthened.

Good thing Precise II exists, I saw a video on it and it all sounds like a walk in the park compared to this LON.

if someone who has no idea about LL see this video they wont allow u to do it, even i find it hard to think about doing LL after this video but once the whole process is done and we finally achieve the height we always dreamed about or close to that we can see a change in our world and i think its worth it, for me atleast

It's good that these videos exist and I think it's important to understand what is happening to your legs. It really imprints the idea that your leg will never be quite the same again.

Is there a video for an internal femur operation?

Can't believe I seriously plan doing this to myself..

Wow 5:10 is the reason why nobody on the right mind should do internal. Let alone permanent knee pain, I can't believe the knees work at all after that.

If anyone can find a video of a modern internal femur operation please post it here. I can't seem to find any.

Obviously this surgery, on this video, is done in a less developed country. I've seen a lot of osteotomy videos and I can see a huge difference between the developed countries. For example there was an internal femural surgery being done and it looked really messed up and there was too much blood. However, I saw another video with the same surgery but this time it was done by an american doctor. The surgery was much more organised, less brutal and I can easily say it was more "high class" or sophisticated. Furthermore there was less blood and definitely less scary by a HUGE difference.

There is no need to fear if you are doing LL with Dr. Paley for example. Either way, personally surgeries never scared me but to each his own. I hope I made some people a little less scared now...? Lol

Maybe this video does show why majority of the doctors do not prefer LATN over LON. Nevertheless, it's better to stick with pure externals for tibial LL and avoid the additional trauma from nail insertion.

This is what LON ends up looking like through standard techniques. It doesn't have to do with it being performed in a less developed country. Dr Parihar learned these techniques straight from Dr Paley himself.

The country plays a big role. You can't compare America (Dr. Paley) the best LL surgeon with this doctor who is from India.

Dr Parihar, the one who did the commentary on the video and performed the surgery, was Dr Paley's fellow for a full year and learned those limb lengthening techniques straight from him. Yet you're saying that because the doctor is from India, he automatically does his procedures in a more barbaric way? I'm not sure I follow your line of reasoning.

I agree with Kilokahn on this. It's a standard procedure. I did internals but I recall watching this video before my surgery (along with a couple other videos, including Guichet internals and Mahboubian internals). It's enjoyable and educating for me, but I see why many people would fear doing this after watching surgery videos. Yet the same could be said for many surgery videos, even liposuction, despite it being such a simple surgery (unlike LL). If this video makes you doubtful about LL in the slightest way possible, then I advise you not to do it. You shouldn't have doubts when you're walking into something like this.

I would've laughed if the background music was American Psycho-like. Can you imagine Sussudio in a surgery video? Lol. It would change your entire barbaric video into a fun one.

Lol, if there is no such thing as anesthesia , I wonder how many people on this forum and old forum  will go through all of this to become taller. Probably none...

Every surgery would be torture without anesthesia. Of course no one would do it under such circumstances.

Yeah, I know. It would be like Saw except you will be tortured to get taller  :D Pulling out a catheter is also pretty hurtful from what I heard by the way. So be ready for that as well  ;) ;) And you will be awake when they do it  ;D ;D

Yes, pulling out the catheter hurts, but it's only for a second or two. But the mental preparation for those two seconds was more difficult for me than preparing for LL altogether, lol. Thinking about it again..nah, actually I don't want to remember it at all..
