Future improvements of e-fix?
« on: January 09, 2015, 01:25:44 AM »

Does anyone know or at least think that there will be improvements in the current external fixation frames ? Like one that doesn't have to have several pins penetrating the skin at both ends of the bone. Internal femurs would be my first op and if I ever decide for a second I would most likely do external tibias however the current frames seem pretty outdated compared to all the advancements in internal fixations.

the pins (k-wires) dont really hurt that much..

even if they hurt it can be controlled..

dr bagirov developed very small frames.. it doesnt pass thru both ends of bone

full knee ROM is preserved..
