How to lengthen forearm?
« on: January 03, 2015, 05:30:12 AM »

I know there is a way to do it but how exactly is the forearm lengthened? There are two bones on our forearms so that is why I am curious about it.

i dont know the whole science behind it but i know that the arm bones are lengthened the same way as leg bones.

as for what to lengthen, i would say humerus(upper arm) just because the forearm is about as long as your foot at any height i belive, and the real arm lenght comes from the humerus.

example:
my friend has a 190-195 armspan and he is about 190 cm tall. we have the same shoe size and when i put my forearm next to his there is almost no difference, but the humerus is another story. xD
hope this helps. im sorry for any grammar mistakes, i was in a hurry.

It's not worth the risk, forearm difference is minimal among close deviations. It would only hinder your everyday tasks - unless if you are a passive worker.

Bad bad bad idea unless your born with a deformity like drawfism. Soft tissue damage and nerve damage will ruin your life.   The bone will always heal with time but if you damage a nerve say hello to a lot of pain and painkiller tablets.   I have damaged nerves in my Tibias and fauck me the pain at time makes walking so painful.  The pain is like breaking your legs all over again

ive noticed that arm length is split in similar ratio whether your short or tall, this means that tall people do have longer forearms than shorter people same as humerus.

This is what I have observed to be true as well.

It's better to lengthen the humerus.

I agree.

Unfortunately, there is no safe way to lengthen the forearm with current technology.

Surely forearm disproportion should be neglieble as long as you keep within 10CM of your original height and with humerus lenghtening it should hardly matter much I hope.

I remember I once met a guy in my High School who was 5'8" (he has no "short complex" whatsoever as any of us; he has a lot of confidence with his height). Anyhow, his forearm was probably 1 cm longer than mine. It also surprised me as well, he rejected to acknowledge it by saying that I was short therefore I should have a shorter wingspan than him, which is true but at least our forearms were somehow relatively the same length.

Humerus and hand size/length play a big factor as well, but it's quite humerus to see that our forearms are not too different.

Really Outgrown? I guess I'm messed up then man cause both my hands and humerus' are pretty small. My forearms are definitely longer, should I look into getting my humerus' lengthened? My goal height'll leave me 4cm taller than my WS

Not sure how to judge, everyone's different - but I can't say without any visual representation of your torso and arms.

But keep aside on what other people will think, what you think would be worth lengthening is all that really matters for people to accept and respect.

Why wouln'd he have any confidence? It's not like he is 5'4" or anything.

I resent the fact that because some of us here want LL that we all apparently got a complex the hell? I think that's bs man I'm confident in myself and I'm 5 fking 3 dude. It's like saying all of us have some type of body dimorphic disorder  or other it's a ridiculous assumption. To some of us this is no different than a woman wanting a cosmetic procedure. Not all of us hate ourselves because of our heights dude it's just something we'd like to change much like a nose job
