why  not? most nba players quote their height with shoes (ie, 2+ cm more, or 1 inch more)

It won't make you "lame". What would make you lame is if your one is those douchebags who claims 6'0" when your really 5'9" max. I find it disrespectful to ad that much to your height and insulting because for people who are actually 6'0" tall, it make people look stupid when they have to be called out that they are lying. But all and all, you'll be able to fool about %70 of the population into thinking your 1" taller than you are.

At 5 11 no one has batted an eye when I say 6 1. Since everyone rounds up, you kind of have to do this.

Any guy should be comfortable rounding up his height an inch. Lots of people round up by two inches and at least in online dating you're only handicapping yourself if you don't round up by one or two.

I think if your 6'1" or 6'2" genuinely then it's pointless to round up. According to the original owner of old forum  anything more than 6'2" actually diminishes returns from women, but I'd say it's more like past 6'3" or 6'4".

Would say my night height but I'm like that - I always lowball it.

I think it would, while I understand that we all wanna be taller and it might be tempting to state a more impressive number it is both needy and slightly pathetic to lie to impress others. Would you lie about your paycheck or what exciting stuff you did in the weekend?
-Quite immature and shallow.

Rubbish don't you think? Never heard a woman say a man is too tall -I don't think it's much of a problem. I can see how being taller than 195 is möre or less pointless though.

I think if your something grotesquelly tall like 6'7"+, women may be turned off by it.
I round off my pay checks to the nearest 25 like if I get paid 730 per week I'll just say 725 since it's easier to remember. Im gonna be honest with you though. Most of my friends and co-workers ad an inch to their height and I can tell because %99 if not close to %100 of my co workers who were 6'1" were actually 6'0" and I could tell because I was taller than all of them "allthough I wear lifts and can say I'm 6'2" without people questioning it. But then again Id feel much better getting ll and being honest with my height.

Most people can't tell the difference between 6'0 and 6'1.
