I know every patient is different however what do you think considering the following:

I'm young, I'll be 18 by the time of surgery
I plan on lengthening 8cm however will settle with 7.5

My surgery is in June 2015, so I plan on lengthening all summer (3 months) and instead of attending the fall semester of college, I'll attend the spring semester Jan 1st, that way I'll have 4 months to consolidate and to try to bring my body as close to pre op condition as possible.

So college involves a lot walking, obviously; the idea of having to travel across campus between classes or even just walking a long hallway makes me nervous. I don't want to have a funny walk nor not be able to walk a regular pace and what happens if I drop my books or anything for that matter, i don't want to make it look like I'm struggling to simply bend down to pick my sh*t up.

I was walking unaided by then.  Not quite 100% but good enough to walk around a college campus.

Thanks for the reply, when you say not 100% what do you mean? Like what we're you not able to do that made it not 100%?
