Safety in russia
« on: December 15, 2014, 07:30:08 PM »

how safe is Russia for Asians?

intend to go to a well-lit area in good daylight

just to sit at a café, mind my own business, and read a book.

should be fine yeah??

I will be in Moscow, near lyublino.

would of course cover my fixators with cargo pants but I will be in walkers

wont be bringing much cash.

I arrived in kurgan at 5 am and was picked up by a cab from the 60's. As we were driving i noticed how diffrent and barren this part of Russia is compared to the US. I was thinking the whole cab ride "if the cab driver felt like killing me, no one would notice and theres plenty of places to ditch my body.

If you are driving through the streets, it feels like you are in an old film. The cars, buldings and roads. Everything is well kept and i like it a lot though.

yes same sentiments when i was picked from cab in domodevodo airport.

the buldings and architecture appear frozen at the soviet era...

and i am not quite sure.. the taxi driver will kill me...? but he put my heart at ease by being very friendly and nice!
