As many people have already complained, this clinic is ridiculous.

THe Russians must learn something about proper pain management. Yes I am using footholders.

I am fed up. 2 mg of Xanax, and more pills. This is not going to work out.

I have also used all of my about 5 mg of Xanax. I brought less pain medicines because I THOUGHT RUSSIANS WERE NICE ENOUGH TO GIVE PAINKILLERS AND SLEEP MEDICINE IF WE REALLY NEED IT!

This is..... the worst medical care ever. Not even antibiotics are prescribed for two pin-site infections. At this point of time, I strongly recommend against this clinic unless you have medicine to bring along with you.

I am EXTREMELY FURIOUS and you can tell how furious I am. I am on 2 mg of Xanax, I don't abuse Xanax, I take only a few pills a year mainly for exams.

Tomorrow I will visit another clinic for stronger pain medicine!

I have 3-4/10 pain in the day but AT NIGHT the pain is so bad!!!!

The infection must be sorted out with PROPER MEDICAL CARE.

Not slip-shod medical care.

This is the perfect example why LL is nothing for weak people. And people tell me I'm crazy when I tell them not to do it, well you'll all end up like ItsMyLife.

You know what your problem is dude, you can't keep your calm, you are way to anxious, the best idea would be to stop right now with lengthening so you can take the frames off in 1-2 months. Because it will take 8+months if you want to lengthen around 5cm and trust me when I say that the worst part of LL hasn't even started yet...

Weak? I walk 1-2 hours everyday, and physio. I have 8/10 pain sometimes when I walk. Sometimes little pains. I just walk.

2 pin-site infections.temperature is 37.7deg. No antibiotics. How do you want me to sleep?

I wonder if you have actually undergone LL operation.

If I am in Singapore or Korea, all of this will not happen. America too. The doctor admitted. Antibiotics would have been prescribed. and the problem resolved. No pain!

I need  antibiotics, opiate painkillers like tramadol, diazepam injections.
All this to reserve ONLY for emergencies.

Friend is also bringing 8 tramadol tablets just in case all this nonsense come back.

note i hav been battling infection for days but i stay positive on exercises UNTIL fever came...
doc refuses to give oral antibiotics.. reluctantly, local antibiotics.
but last night after begging him he agreed to put me on augmentin
if he did not agree i would have found my own antibiotics
haha, if nobody bothers to help then i'm pretty much gone, especially when my friend arrives in moscow..

I have come late to the thread but I am going to do 6cm for each segment but will push for 7 if everything has gone well and I get the go ahead from the doctor.

Good choice. More than 7 cm in the tibias is not well tolerated. 6.5-7 cm or less will allow for a quick return to normal activities, as well as full recovery of athletic ability.

i think he is worried about super-infection???
i have THREE pin-site infections leaking pus. Confirmed by doctor. But he said superficiail.
Insists no anti.
But after taking augmentin 500 mg, immediately or within hours the fever is gone and the pains are mostly gone.
Thank God!
But even if the pain was 6/10 all the thing I will still do lengthening tho i will find better pain control meds.
Infection hurts. Period.

Update:

I have now committed an immigration offence probably because of Anna's negligence..
She never once checked up on me after we left the clinic..
Well, she forgot to submit my "registration letter" to the immigration service here before 7 day.
she has not done so even now its 18++ days into my arrival!
This is according to my htel staff & the immigration officers.
Luckily I was not locked up, as I was in contact with my Singapore embassy.....
But I still need pay 6000 roubles and be deported.. (hope SG ebmassy can help me)
All this is due to Anna's negligence.

I will post a balanced review on this clinic once I am better.
Basically, infections resolved and I am lengthening 1mm/day on some painkilers only.
fastum gel works (if you are in singapore); otherwise, just use any ketoprofen gel, that way you use less oral painkillers.
if you use ketoprofen gel, very little pain, and very little of it gets into the blood-stream. This might potentiate bone healing and reduce the amount of NSAIDs in your bone; so u heal faster!

Perhaps but I will offer my advice for what it's worth: -if I were you I'd stop lenghtening right away, get something for your infections and do everything you can to ensure a good recovery. Eat vitamins, stretch your legs and get plenty of rest. Also go to a doctor in Singapore when you get back -Is health care there free?
Even if not I think it's good to get a second opinion, don't gamble with your health mate.

Well i spke to some high-level officer at my embassy and they will accompany me to court.
i will have to pay  a fine of 6000 rubles max.
the hopsital will also have t pay a fine of about 40000.
i could risk deportation but that is unliekly.
all this is due to anna's negligence because im told by embassy and hotel that reigstration is done by the hotel/hopsital where you arrive at russia!

Thanks everyone, despite having four infections (three have since healed), I am fine.
I was started on a course of antibiotics (Amox/Clav aka Augmention1000 mg/day) by Doctor fahri.  After 2-3 days, i was not feeling well again. Increased dosage to 2000-3000 mg/day.
Pain is mostly dealable and under control. You don't relaly get used to it. It is just, less.
I am on Katadalon and Ibuprofen (only two drugs) but if there is discomfort I will take Ketorolac (similar to Ketoprofen).
I gave any intramuscular shot of ketorolac to myself last night but i suggest, just take the pills. The injection hurts and even though I think I injected my muscle, my fever just got worse after inj despite sterile technique (maybe something was not done in a sterile way and so my temperature went up).
I would advise anyone not having medical background NOT to self-injct and the needles in russia are also so large (21G).
Fahri does repond to your skype messages, no worries about that.
I am currently lengthening 1 mm/day, with not too much problems.
Anti-histamines are taken at night  to sleep amidst all this discomfort.
So far,  I have done 13.25 mm. Soon reaching  2 cm mark

SG has top notch healthcare so i probably would go there to get another course of antibiotics.

I almost injected myself with a broad-spectrum antibiotics but the freaking container slipped off my grip, and bye bye to the self-injection.

No sigh of equinius still, and my dorsiflexion is still same as before (though a little less). Once dorsiflexion changes, we know equinus is coming ....

I find that, the more i lengthen, the more weird my legs feel.. i dont know how to explain the feeling.. the more weird it is to walk on walkers, ie my legs feel weaker?

since i am on anti-histamine for sleep these few days and will have femazepam for either tonight or tomorrow night, I will lengthen more... and then 0.75 on days I do not take any drugs for sleep.

No, stick with 1mm/day, u seem so "dumb", way too excited, you should know by experience from life that the effects aren't always immediate and if every top doctor says no more than 1mm than you better calm down and listen to their advice

Elongation at 1 mm / day without any problem. Is it bad for athletic ability ?? This is what I asked.

my understanding is that the best lengthening rate for your soft tissue is 0.66mm per day.

its better to do this because you will not develop any micro tears in the soft tissue which will allow a better final outcome in the later stages as your soft tissue will still be in optimal form for being stretched.

0.75 is close enough I think.
