I took some atarax last night to sleep. couldn't sleep with the discomfort.
I slept like a baby. But was woken up by nurses and doctors in the morning. I kept sleeping. And the nurse scolded me not to sleep! Haha!
lunch is here and its, as usual, bland and weird-tasting. Quick tip: Ask for mayo and it will taste so much better!!
hospital food does taste worse and worse the longer you stay here. and I have been here for already 6 days!
today I lengthen 1 mm, for five days. and then doctor suggests to decrease to 0.75 mm a day until I leave Russia.
i hope tonight i can get more burger king when gula is here.. she can go out to buy food for us
actually once you taste fast food, the more you will dislike the hospital food. can't they make it better tasting or less Russian, whatever it is
I need some more fruits too!
So at the end of today it will be 1.25 mm. I used to take glucosamine, and am still doing so, it helps me by 3-5 mm. I am SO HAPPY that if nothing bad happens (touch wood) I will be already more than 5 mm taller permanently. That's like much better than glucosamine!
I am very bullish currently of being able to lengthen at least 5 cm. Yes, once you start the process, you start to downwards revise your targets. I used to think that I wanna do 8 cm +. But now, I might downwards revise to 7-8 cm, or maybe less. I don
t know. Considering all the questions with athletic ability, it makes me wanna do less also. But the main factor is the entire drawn-out process.
Whatever it is, I am here to win, and I will win. I will aim for 8 cm if my body can take it. My main question is if my body cannot take it, and I push realliy hard with pharmaceutical help and sheer willpower to 8 cm, will it be bad for athletic ability, ie, i can never recover 100%?
Dr Fahkri says that I can recover athletic ability if I do PT and stretch and lengthen at 0.6 mm a day. We shall see. He's pretty bullish that as long as you follow instructions, you can still play basketball.
Whatever it is, I hope my diary is of help. When I was lengthening I read many diaries to know what to expect. in terms of pain, what to do, how i do compare to others, etc. It does help to give a clearer picture of the process. And makes u less worried (eg, is my situation now abnormal, or is this normal response).
The doctor is out of town for some time. For a few days. He is back on Wednesday. i don't know if i shd leave this hospital early. But we shall c, i think it will depend on my progress.
