Exercise Role
« on: November 08, 2014, 03:53:07 AM »

I always used to sit on laptop, no Physical Work since 2005
is this problem is responsible for short posture.
My Brother is always used to do Physical work like Cycling 7 km Daily.
and he looks 4cm taller than me.
Should I do Physical Exercises and Cycling so that I can Stand in Proper Posture

I have worked a desk job for about 7 years and it's true that it isn't good for your posture but I am pretty active outside of work so that helps.  Try to sit up straight at your desk and also take breaks every hour to walk around for a few minutes.  That helps too.

In the picture though it looks like your posture is fine.

Unfortunately no. Unless you have a bad posture, which technically you aren't exactly "increasing" your height. Judging from your picture though, your posture seems fine, just like Blackhawk mentioned.

No use thinking about what caused your shortness. thinking about stuff like "if only i had exercised more" is not exactly healthy. You can't do anything about it anyway.

Exercise after 23 to gain 1-2cm? I don't know. Some people say yes. some people say no. Probably not. and it's best to not expect too much.

1-2cm is pretty negligible anyway. You can just do a bunch of exercises and tell yourself you've grown 1 cm and feel good about. It's cheating yourself but who cares right. People are taller or shorter by that amount also depending on how you measure yourself or who is doing the measuring.
