Meeting Your Previous Height
« on: October 08, 2014, 12:42:42 AM »

This pertains mostly to those who've done LL already, but today I stood behind a guy in a line who I know to be a genuine 5'10. It's the first time I've had the opportunity to stand behind someone straight up and fully digest the new height difference. Even with a 2 inch increase, the difference seemed to be drastic. I could view his whole body and thought he seemed small. I felt bad because it seems that even with LL, you still have the constant thoughts of comparison and guilt that you shouldn't really be where you are, but be where the people you're comparing yourself to now are, in the natural sense. Anyone else experience these feelings of nostalgia?

Honestly I don't feel any guilty or wrong about my new height at all. Even looming over people who I walked in shorter than feels great. I feel like I now match how I felt I was internally pre LL.

In some ways yes, but for me its easier to neglect since im pretty sure i have genes for a taller height than i became naturally. Im almost certain my growth was heavily stunted due to many factors, most importantly being born to early and having very malnourished parents.

I think that is normal polycrates.

especially since you only just had your LL surgery, and your still healing.
