Question about American healthcare

If I (not an American citizen) get operated with an American doctor and despite keeping some money aside for complications, let's say worse complications happen. For example, if I slip in the bathroom and break my Precice nails and I have only $30k in reserve for complications, but a complete renailing in such a situation is going to cost way more. Can I even call an ambulance in such a situation? Considering it is an emergency situation, what would happen? Would they refuse to admit me to the hospital? Obviously insurance will not cover such expenses.
