Hi. Years ago, I used to repeatedly hit my shinbones with hard objects, most of the time slowly, not so hard. This process is called cortical remodeling and the point is to deaden the nerve so that we don't feel pain when our shinbones collide with other objects.

I was wondering if this caused my bones unable to form new bones because the nerves are dead?
