Rate my proportions
« on: September 09, 2024, 09:59:36 PM »

Hi guys,

i’m currently undergoing femur CLL and i’m at 4 cm right now. As my initial tibia/femur ratio was already on the slightly lower side (0.78), i’m quite scared about what the result is going to be if i lengthen to my goal of 7 cm.

Right now, i would prefer to keep it at only 1 surgery actually, so i’m striving for max length possible on 1 segment without looking too weird nked.

There is a possibility i might do tibias in the future if my proportions would look better this way and if i’m still not happy with my height.

I was hoping people here could give there honest opinion based on these stats and mockups below about what they think looks best and how far i could push it (with and without doing tibias).

Stats:
Height pre-operation: 165 cm
Wingspan: 172 cm
Sitting height: 88 cm
Tibia+femur length: 34.5 + 44= 78.5cm

Mockups:

Small update.

I achieved 6.5 cm of lengthening on the femurs today and decided to push for to my initial goal of 7 cm as my condition and proportions allow it

My final tibia/femur ratio will be around 0.67 just like the guy from Height Journey, which is still reasonable but i’m more and more considering in doing tibias in a few years too given that the femur CLL journey went really well and i would still look decent (at least that’s what i hope).

If you guys have any questions then i’m happy to answer them :)

As i can see your femur is pretty short, so i would do 8 cm femur + 4 cm tibia and you will be well proportioned.

Hey Ted68,

I have much respect for you doing quad at such a decent age.
Doing only one segment is already hard enough for anyone at any age, so i can imagine it was, and likely still is a tough ride.
You for sure didn't miss the nuts to go through this.

I saw in your diary you're having issues. I hope you're doing okay man and making progress.

Also, thank you for your opinion on my proportions. It's highly appreciated.
