How to dissimulate a 4 inches (10 cm) lengthening?
« on: September 13, 2024, 09:10:38 AM »

I'm 24 years old, and I'm planning to undergo cosmetic limb lengthening next year, followed by another procedure on my femurs the year after, in 2026. My goal is to increase my height by a total of 10 cm, or 9 cm maybe.

I'm not interested in going beyond that, even though I’m starting from a very short height of 5'2" (158 cm). My top priorities are preserving my future mobility and ensuring a quick recovery.

Like most people who undergo this, I want to keep it a secret. So, is there any way to hide a 10 cm increase in height?

Currently, I wear shoes with insoles that give me an extra 6 cm in height from the floor, and my plan is to gradually increase that to around 8 cm with thicker soles and more insoles. After the procedures, I’ll switch to wearing flat shoes for about a year before transitioning to regular sneakers to fully enjoy the new height. When meeting people who i haven’t known me before, I might still use a couple of insoles of 2 cm, since, after all, we do this surgery to appear taller.

Obviously, people will notice that I’m taller, for what my excuse will be to attribute it to my shoes, improved posture, and the stretching exercises I’ve been doing at the gym. Do you have any other suggestions?

You cannot conceal a 10cm height increase. If somebody knew you before this, they are going to know you have become taller. And if they didn't know you before then, well, it's not an issue, is it?

Stop worrying too much about what other people think. People have their own   going on in life and, despite how it might look, believe me, you are the least of their concerns.

There's zero chance you'd be able to hide that much of a height gain from people that know you well. Lol. Isn't the whole point of this surgery for it to be noticable / make an impact in how people perceive you?
