Why Not Wear Lifts?
« on: June 27, 2024, 01:29:25 AM »

I am curious I am about 5'7 but with right shoes and right lifts I can be 5'9 - 5'10 so I am wondering why not just use lifts instead? Or do you plan on getting the surgery and lifts?

There is a significant amount of difference between becoming something you want to be and pretending to be something you're not. If you feel content with wearing lifts to give other people the impression that you're taller than you are, that's fine, but I think most people just want to not have to think about height ever again. Wearing lifts is I'm sure no less anxiety inducing than being short. Imagine you have to take off your shoes somewhere and suddenly you're 2 inches shorter. 🤣

a temporary solution, but no thanks, i'd prefer 1000 times gain real height and you just cannot wear footwear every minute and in all contexts

Because you can't put more than 2-3cm insoles in a normal shoe so the max you can gain is 3cm compared to other men who don't wear insoles.
Because all wear shoes so even if you gain 6cm (3cm from shoes and another 3cm from insoles) the difference with everyone else will be just 3cmn(as they would still wear shoes so they'll gain 3cm).
And for short men, 3cm added are not enough.
I still wear 2-3cm insoles and they makena good addition at my current height. But before LL, the difference they made wasn't enough to make me feel close to average.
And of course, insoles are not permanent in contrast with LL.

First of all what happens when you take those shoes off? You creating an illusion, that your're something your're not. I have in the past used lifts and had multiple days of pain, because it damages the muscles, nerves etc over time.

Why don't women who want plastic surgery just wear masks?

Makeup is a cosmetic. No one gets flack for wearing makeup, nor does it put you at a disadvantage.

But I can still pull the same question; if women have access to all the makeup in the world, then why do so many keep getting plastic surgery? Because no amount of makeup is going fix your fked-up nose, or if you straight up look like Shrek.
