When to consider limb lengthening
« on: April 07, 2024, 12:43:30 AM »

I am 175 cm at 20. About to be 21. So I’m not necessarily short, but I was supposed to be taller. The jump from 5’9” to 5’11” hardly feels worth 100k, but if it were like 20-30k and only required 4 months of downtime then it would be a no brainer, but like do any of you who have undergone the procedure face financial or social repercussions from doing the procedure? When do yall think one should consider LL height wise?

I guess is only reasonable when you are short, therefore when you are actually into any kind of "disadvantage". If you are kinda average is not worth it, there is so much other ways to improve yourself in things you can control, instead of a hight risk and expensive cometic surgery

LL is not worth it if you are 5’9. with shoes, especially designer shoes such as Alexander Mqueen, you will stand at 5’10-5’11

Are there still 20-30k places? Even Turkey nowadays charge 40k+ with prices increasing every year + the loss of income from that 4-6 month downtime.

Why there's no more Russian patients left? I think Dr. Solomin had quite good track record, published reaserch papers etc.
