Several years back (>40), I broke my Left Femur and Tib/Fib, which ultimately resulted in a 1.5" length discrepancy. I was recently looking into Leg Lengthening surgery and it was suggested that the "easier" path would be to shorten the longer leg by ~1.5" (Less Surgery, quicker recovery time, etc). I'm wanting to hear from anyone that has had this type of surgery. What was the outcome? What issue(s) did you have and/or run into after the surgery?

Many doctors have no idea about LL procedures and about new generation technique...
Anyways, if you are taller than 6 feet, you can shorten... but if you are short, its obvious you have to lengthen it !
