is it worth it?

Im debating offing myself and my only hope is limb lengthening surgery but i dont know if its worth it as the only think getting longer is my legs so id still have a small upper body il never be a tall or even average man it hurts and makes me wanna off myself.

It would probably be wise to work psychologically on this idea that height is some kind of score for how much you’re worth, which I assume is what is driving you to this negative state of mind.

I mean if we look at raw statistics the surgery has an extremely high satisfaction rate and the possibility of you going handicap or even die is so small that I don't think it's really a factor imo. The main factor you should really worry about is if you can afford the best care/procedure as the total cost can go from high 5 figs to even 6 figs ( something that a vast majority of the population can't afford ). I think people care too much about the mechanical consequences but tend to just shrug off the financial consequences.

Sometimes working it out psychologically (aka "just get therapy bro") doesn't change anything other than masking the problem - in this case it's even moreso since it's a physical problem. Even with LL ( + 8cm ) he won't be average height so I can't really fathom the social/personal pressure he must be feeling.
