Surgeons in Turkey or India that do it the cheapest
« on: May 16, 2023, 12:10:23 AM »

What are the clinics in India or China that offer the cheapest rates for 15cm?  And do clinics usually have installment plans or you pay directly. I know it’s probably going to hurt more but I don’t mind

Mocrovich. At the surgical world one gets what they pay for. You would choose a weight bearing nail and seek out a performant physician. LL surgery demands skill, attention, precision, cunning, and endurance. It calls for surgeons who bravely accept challenges, uncertainties, and risks. A surgeon’s technical skill ultimately determines patient outcomes. higher technical skill == generally more expensive. You'll likely only find surgeons of this quality at a higher price point. Consult with Rozbruch, Paley, Betz, Mahboubian, Lowenberg, Kandemir. Your body is the most valuable thing you own. It's best not to take risks at your health. MJS.

Mangle's case reports appear to be self published; having clearly forsaken the peer review process. Does he have anything published at any reputable journals like Journal of Pediatric Orthopaedics? I haven't seen any papers with him as a co-author [with Paley]; despite him having (briefly) worked with Paley as a post-doc or something.

https://parihar.com/casestudies/index.html

Furthermore the only LL publication he's got to his name is this (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8725545/)

He's listed as the 8th author out of 11. Which strongly implies he didn't play a huge role at its publication.

You're better off working with Paley himself instead of one of his post-docs (if anyone finds any work they've jointly published please post it here) . Even if it takes you slightly longer to save up. At surgery you truly get what you pay for.

Yes you're right but I guess there should be a balance between price and quality, american doctors are way too expensive you'll need to sell a kidney

There's no more reputable limb lengthening surgeon in India than Dr Parihar. The only one close, and one of the few who has been performing limb lengthening longer than him, is Dr Milind Chaudhary. He may also be worth looking into.

No. There's no balance between price and quality for this procedure. Are you kidding, seriously??? With surgery? There is only quality and the best possible outcome. That's it.

Your desperation to be taller is overriding your logical thinking. Here's the worst case scenario. You die. Here's your second worst case scenario. You lose a limb, are maimed for life, etc. Scroll through some of the Turkey CLL stories and look at what happened there. The infection rate in the US and Canada for LON is 1/10, which Dr. Marie rightfully stated is considered medically unacceptable. What do you think the infection rate is in a dirty facility in Turkey or India?

Your desperation to be taller is overriding your ability to think straight. I thought by the title of your post that this was a joke but I actually think you're serious, which, if this is the case, no sane Dr. would psychologically clear you for CLL.

Get a side gig, work hard, save money, do this with a reputable Dr., enjoy the result for the rest of your life. Otherwise good luck, you're going to need all you can get.

I had a chin genioplasty in Mumbai (top rated medical district in India) last June, my mouth and chin became infected and were leaking puss for the whole 2 months whilst my Indian surgeon kept recommending topical(!) antibiotics.
When i got back to the west they treated me with high level oral antibiotics and eventually had to remove the whole block of chin that the Indian surgeon had brought forward but had not positioned the bone block to stay in contact with my lower jaw, I am now on the waiting list for local surgeons for both chin and plastic surgery (to repair the chin and the large puckered scar under my chin).....my Indian surgeon offered to treat me for free if i flew back to him - no thanks Mate.
