Would my family immediately notice a 6.5cm difference?
« on: April 20, 2023, 02:09:16 PM »

I am wearing a 3cm indoor thick slippers, and a one inch shoe lift inside the house.
When i return i want to wear flat shoes for a while, and slowly climb up.
If my shoes increase me 5cm and i go from that to flat shoes with no heel, i will be 1.5cm taller - surely nobody will notice?
If i stop wearing slippers that are thick and wear flat slippers in doors with poor posture initially, being in my 20s, i might even claim i had a late growth spurt?

I think given i am in my 20s, i could actually claim a very late growth spurt, it isn't impossible.

From my experience talking with a bunch of different people, most people notice a difference in height when you gain a substantial amount of about 5+ cm. So yes they should notice it, espically when standing closer to you. My advice to you is to not care and not hide this surgery from your family. In my opinion if they don't support you in something that is gonna make your psychological state better, you shouldn't even spend time with them. Negative energy draining people isn't worth it. I'm talking from experience. My entire family don't understand me undergoing LL in future unfortunately, so I barely see them since they don't support me...

You could probably work around that length. Maybe you could say that you fixed your posture or you started doing stretches (which kind of correct).

Also, you shouldn't toss away your entire family because of this procedure since it's still a very controversial surgery and they just might want you to stay safe.

I'm not exactly saying that he should toss his family in the bin, but if they in generel don't support him in his goals and don't understand that the surgery isn't risky (if you go with an internal method and a reputable doctor), and wouldn't accept him afterwards, I would recommend not priotizing them. Don't give energy vampires your attention.
