How the Q angle influences height gain

Let's say someone lengthens 8cm, if they have a Q angle (a) of 15deg the actual height gain would be 7.72cm

L - L*(1-cos α) = height

On the other hand, people don't walk or stay with their legs closed for the Q angle to fully effect the height decrease.

I lose way more height during the early hours from the daily compression of the spinal discs, 1.5cm.

Yes, 15v degrees is correct for the average female, and most males have a Q Angle around 11 degrees, so 8cm*Cos(11) = 7.85 cm, either way (M or F) 2or3 mm Q Angle loss is insignificant, and way less than the daily deviation in height due to disk compression.
