Silicone scar tape
« on: January 25, 2023, 09:32:16 PM »

Hi, would love to get your impression and feedback on using silicone scar tape and it's impact on your scars.

How early did you start using it? And for how long do you use it every day?
I'm also curious whether people re-use it or not? It says you can re-use for up to 1 week but from my experience it doesn't really last that long. It's also quite tricky to remove and reapply after shower, I wonder if any of you have tips for that :-X

Seriously? I kinda feel this way but have seen lots of doctors recommend it, so figured I should give it a shot  ::)

The tape is the only stuff that's proven to do anything at all, but it does so little.

Everything else is an outright scam.

Ha fair enough. I'm trying to read some reviews etc but all the reports on it's effectiveness seems to be from people who sell you this stuff so it's kinda fked. I guess it's also really tough to compare what the scars would've looked like without using it so...
